Асоциацията на филмовите критици на Лос Анджелис обявиха победителите за 2021г. в отделните категории. Новината дойде през официалния им профил в Twitter.
Изненадващо в основните категории за най-добър филм и най-добър режисьор, асоциацията размени „The Power of the Dog“ и „Driver my car“, като награди всеки от тях в една от категориите. „Drive my car“ e четиринадесетия филм, който печели едновременно наградите на критиките на Лос Анджелис и на Ню Йорк. Всеки един от тези филми до момента е печелил след това номинация за Оскар в същата категория.
Сред големите победители бяха Пенелопе Круз, Ариана Де Бос, Коди Смит-Макфий и Саймън Рекс.
През изминалата година критиката на Лос Анджелис награди Клоуи Жао в категория най-добър режисьор, което и донесе две статуетки Оскар за „Земя на номади“ след това.
Джейн Капман по-рано през Декември спечели статуетката за най-добър режисьор за „The Power of The Dog“ и от критиката на Ню Йорк.
